"AMERIGO VESPUCCI" at Barcelona
Named after the Italian Explorer and launched on the 22.2.1931 the superb Tall-Ship "AMERIGO VESPUCCI" is one of the most beautiful sailing ships still in service, she is based at the Italian Port of La Spezia and when sailing has a crew or around 450 people, the ship weighs 4.146 G.T. and has 101 metres in length, she is classified as a full rigged ship and takes part in sailing parades and Tall Ships Races. The last time I saw the ship was back in 2006 during the Lisbon Tall Ships Races, it's always a special moment for me to see and visit this amazing ship, a real beauty.
